Q1. a)Define polynomial ,

Q2. Find the quadratic polynomial,  the sum of whose zeroes is 5/2 and whose product is 1.

Q3. If a and b are the zeroes of a polynomial such that a+ b =6 and ab=4 then write the polynomial.

Q4. If 3 is a zero of the polynomial 2x^2 +k , find the value of k. (2x ^2 is 2 x square )

5. Show that any positive odd integer is of the form ( 4m+1) or ( 4m +3 ) , where m is some integer.

Q6.Show that any number 4^n can never end with the digit 0. ( 4^n is 4power n )

Q7.Find the largest number that will divide divide 398 , 436 and 542 leaving remainder 7 , 11 and 15 respectively.

Q8.Using prime factorization find L.C.M of 21,28,36 and 45

Q9.Two dice are thrown at the same time , find the probability that the sum of the two numbers appearing on the top of the dice is more than 9.
